1️⃣ Gulf Region (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, etc.)

To export electrical appliances to Gulf countries, products must comply with the Gulf Technical Regulation for Low Voltage Electrical Equipment (BD-142004-01). Exporters must obtain the G-Mark certificate and register their products on the SABER platform (Saudi Arabia).

  • Obtain tests from an accredited lab (IEC standards).
  • Apply through a Notified Body for the G-Mark.
  • Register product on SABER and issue shipment certificates (SCoC).
  • Label the product with the G-Mark logo and safety information in Arabic & English.

2️⃣ European Union (EU)

Exporting to Europe requires compliance with the CE Marking system. The CE mark confirms that the product meets EU safety, health, and environmental protection standards.

  • Apply relevant EU Directives: Low Voltage (LVD), EMC, RoHS.
  • Conduct tests in an EU-accredited laboratory.
  • Prepare a Technical File with risk assessment and conformity declaration.
  • Affix the CE mark visibly on the product and packaging.
