🔷 Export Councils of Egypt

Egypt’s Export Councils are semi-governmental, sector-specific bodies established under the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Their mission is to support exporters by providing technical guidance, market insights, matchmaking opportunities, and access to international trade fairs. There are currently 16 Export Councils, each serving as a bridge between exporters and government policies.

✅ Key Roles

  • Global Market Access & Exhibitions: Organize and sponsor participation in international fairs, offer subsidies, and arrange B2B meetings.
  • Sector-Specific Export Strategy: Develop annual export plans aligned with national targets and provide updated market data.
  • Training & Compliance: Conduct workshops on documentation, trade law, customs, and certifications (ISO, CE, etc.).
  • Policy Advocacy: Represent exporter concerns and propose reforms in tax, trade agreements, and customs facilitation.

✅ How to Register

  1. Exporter must be legally registered in Egypt.
  2. Submit a membership request to the relevant Export Council.
  3. Pay annual membership fees and submit export performance data.
