With over 40 years of experience in the banking and financial sector, Dr. Neveen Elmessiry stands as a unique model of female leadership in the Arab world. She led successful institutional transformations at prominent Egyptian banks and was actively involved in major strategic decision-making, both in the banking sector and as a financial consultant for projects worth over $5 billion across the Middle East.

Dr. Elmessiry served as the CEO and Managing Director of the National United Bank - Egypt from 2010 to 2019, where she succeeded in increasing net profits ninefold. She also led pioneering digital and organizational initiatives, positioning the bank among the top 10 private banks in Egypt.

Following this, she worked as a Managing Partner at Panther Associates, providing financial and structural consulting to several major companies, contributing to the restructuring of financial institutions, and attracting investments and financing for large-scale developmental projects.

She was also selected by the European Union as a senior consultant to establish a financial framework for irrigation, desalination, and reclamation projects in Egypt for five years, in collaboration with the relevant ministries.

Currently, Dr. Elmessiry holds board memberships in several leading entities, including insurance companies, microfinance institutions, and industrial companies. She is also a member of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Egypt initiative and was recognized by Forbes Middle East as one of the most influential women in the Arab world in 2018.
