About Adrère Amellal

       Adrère Amellal is a remote eco-lodge nestled in Siwa Oasis, Egypt, blending architectural beauty with environmental mindfulness.        Each of its approximately 40 hand-built rooms is unique, constructed from salt rocks, clay, palm wood, and local materials to harmonize        with the desert. The lodge operates without conventional electricity or air conditioning; illumination is done by beeswax candles and natural lanterns.          Water is drawn from natural springs. It is plastic-free, emphasizes sustainability, and seeks to preserve the desert ecosystem.        

       At night, the property glows under starlight and candlelight. Meals are served in various locations across the lodge — each evening is unique.        The food is organic, largely grown onsite or locally sourced. Guests can enjoy views of Salt Lake, stroll to White Mountain, swim in spring-fed basins, and explore the surrounding desert and cultural heritage of Siwa.
